If the OS has a python installation, you can alwaysuse Ansible to manage it.. Note that you should check the individual module requirements install Ansible using the python package(for example the snap module) since they may have dependencies which cannot be satisfied by your OS.

FromIn general though the Ansible docs:modules are written in python and as such a python runtime is needed.

Ansible can be installed via pip, the Python package manager. If pip isn’t already available on your system of Python, run the following commands to install it:

$ curl https://bootstrap.pypa.io/get-pip.py -o get-pip.py $ python get-pip.py --user

Then install Ansible:

$ pip install --user ansible
