I read from SRE books that Site Reliability Engineer main activities are:

  • reducing toil and implement automated tasks;
  • define and implement SLIs and SLOs for the services;
  • implement monitoring systems and alerting;
  • Define an acceptable reliability levels for the services;
  • analyze and manage risk;

I want to ask if you are agree, and, since that theory and practice may differ, as Site Reliability Engineers what are your main daily activities and if you work in a small, medium or big company.
