I'm trying to set up a CI pipeline in Azure Devops and have a Virtual Machine in Azure. I tried to configure a CD pipeline from the VM Continuos Delivery Setting and am getting the following warning: "The latest run of the selected build pipeline did not publish a package. Make sure the pipeline publishes a package that contains a deployment script folder as described here." Is it necessary to set up this package (How do I do that since I can't find any tutorials online?) or is there some other error?

Failed to configure continuous delivery. Error: Configuration failed at step: 'Creating assets'. More details: {
  "code": "VMExtensionHandlerNonTransientError",
  "message": "The handler for VM extension type 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.Services.TeamServicesAgentLinux' has reported terminal failure for VM extension 'TeamServicesAgentExtension' with error message: '[ExtensionOperationError] Non-zero exit code: 126, /var/lib/waagent/Microsoft.VisualStudio.Services.TeamServicesAgentLinux-1.21.0.0/AzureRM.py\n[stdout]\n\n\n[stderr]\n/bin/sh: /var/lib/waagent/

Edit: My TeamServicesAgentExtension gives has the following status message and handler status:

-Status message: [ExtensionOperationError] Non-zero exit code: 126, /var/lib/waagent/Microsoft.VisualStudio.Services.TeamServicesAgentLinux-1.21.0.0/AzureRM.py [stdout] [stderr] /bin/sh: /var/lib/waagent/Microsoft.VisualStudio.Services.TeamServicesAgentLinux-1.21.0.0/AzureRM.py: /usr/bin/python: bad interpreter: No such file or directory

-Handler status: Not Ready
