I tested my server on ssllabs. (results: https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=nutsfashion.pl).

And I got "This server's certificate chain is incomplete.".

I think what do I wrong beacuse in config I have:

SSLCertificateFile /etc/ssl/certs/nutsfashion.crt
SSLCertificateKeyFile /etc/ssl/private/nutsfashion.key
SSLCertificateChainFile /etc/ssl/certs/chaincert.der

Help me pls.

  • Which webserver? Are we supposed to guess from 3 conf lines if it's apache or lighthttpd and what is in the crt and des file along with their format and if the server logs anything about them? – Tensibai Jun 21 '18 at 18:58
  • At least in some cases the chain certificates need to be concatenated with the server certificate into a single certificate file. You need to provide more details about your setup. – Dan Cornilescu Jun 22 '18 at 1:09
  • Ok I resolve my problem. When I download chain cert from my provider there was 3 files. I upload on a server only one but I have to concat all 3 into 1. No it works and I get A :) Thank you for helping. – Mlody87 Jun 22 '18 at 10:47
