We configured multiple jobs in single repo and enabled poll scm. The build is not triggerring whenever checkins happened.

Let me know is it possible that poll scm will work for multiple jobs in single repo.

And in this only 1st job is triggering when changes are happen in git. Other jobs are not triggering and each job has configured 15 minutes gap.

  • it is an anti-pattern with git to have multiple deployments from a single repo. its better to have an git organisation that represents a big system with many small repos that each represent a single deployable. you can have a single repo with many deployables each in a subfolder but it will simply make your life harder than many smaller repos. – simbo1905 Nov 11 '18 at 21:04

What is the interval you have configured? Did you try to use git webhooks to trigger the build whenever check-in has happened.? I suggest using webhooks is a good way to have instant triggers on check-in

  • Agreed. Using a push model versus polling is the preferred method when it comes to dealing with changes in your code repositories. – casey vega Nov 9 '18 at 16:45
  • Thanks for the replies. issue has been resolve. Actually it was working as developers not checked any code for 2nd job it was not trigered . After a while when checkin done its working. – Nithin Nov 21 '18 at 6:18
