I am trying to connect a webhook from GitLab (external standalone) to Jenkins (a pod on Openshift) However, when anyone tries to log onto Jenkins, they are redirected to Openshift first, asked to provide their credentials, then they are provided with an OAuth and is redirected back to Jenkins.
So when GitLab attempts to alert Jenkins of the new build (pushed by developers), it fails to pass through this OAuth phase.
Any ideas how to workaround this?
NOTE: Yes, I am aware we can attach GitLab's webhook onto Openshift directly... but I don't want to do this because Openshift's Jenkinsfile lacks the capabilities of retrieving the "branch name" that was pushed by the developers
