I'm using Azure Pipelines to build a Node.JS project hosted in Bitbucket. I've enabled continuous integration and everything works fine, except for the fact that Azure doesn't recognise the Bitbucket users. If a CI build fails Azure this means Azure isn't able to notify the person who pushed the change.

Is it possible to map a Bitbucket user to a user hosted in Azure (where the former uses a username and the latter an email address)?

Unresolved user

Yes, they’re the same. It only seemed to happen when builds were triggered by a git push.

  • Do the BitBucket users and Azure DevOps users match by email address? – Sumo Mar 28 at 15:36
