how to check running containers with containerd

Try to namespace to list command ctr -n k8s.io containers list To list available namespaces run ctr ns ls

This is actually how I got it working with "ctr containerd.io 1.4.6". ctr image pull --user "myusername:mypasswd" myurl.dot.com/docker_image:1.0.3 Hope it helps someone.
