I've been a full-time programmer for about 9 years. These days, it's mostly Python, Perl, and JavaScript, with Git for version control.

I first started programming as a kid on my neighbor's Commodore VIC-20, and later, my own C64. For a while, it was mostly HTML, PHP, and CSS, with a smattering of JavaScript, C, C++, and Bash scripting.

I have a B.S. in computer science, and an A.S. in Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology (ECET), which included electronic and computer systems design, troubleshooting and repair; microprocessor architecture; and low-level programming, including assembly language and machine code. Other subjects included LAMP stack, Subversion, Windows network administration, Cisco networking, and some infoSec.
