Why can I not run docker daemon?
Indeed I think he has an outdated kernel version, an update-grub would solve the issue but without activating swap capabilities a warning would still appear in the logs

Cannot connect to server running on host from Dockerfile / image build
You have to change localhost to the host machine IP address as nc is run inside the container localhost will refer to the container local address

Running Docker images as Jenkins slave
I cannot comprehend the entire situation from this alone, but at a glance if you're running all from the same machine, it comes down to the same thing .. The only real way to find out is to test it.

While I agree that the manifesto is simple and well explained , I think that non techy people won't be able to follow and assimilate it. my question aim to trivialize those essential 12 practices.

Ansible Playbook Localhost Invocation Working Directory
I have to ask, but why you need that path into your playbook?

Ansible Playbook Localhost Invocation Working Directory
As OP said this will return the playbook directory not the directory from which the command is executed.

Ansible Playbook Localhost Invocation Working Directory
The only way I can think about is to pass $PWD with the -e option , your playbook is not supposed to know from where you run the command ( same as a shell script)
